RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - United States Ambassador to Indonesia Peter M. Haymond said Eid al-Fitr is an important moment to reflect on the values of faith, especially togetherness with family and mutual forgiveness.

He said Eid al-Fitr celebration, which marks the end of Ramadan, is a moment to strengthen relationships among people. “Happy Eid al-Fitr. Please forgive me for any wrongdoings,” he said in a press statement received by RRI on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Indonesia Serzhan Abdykarimov said Eid al-Fitr is an important moment to spread happiness, particularly in strengthening togetherness among communities.

According to him, the celebration of Eid al-Fitr can bring blessings and joy to all people, while also strengthening brotherhood and reinforcing the spirit of unity. “May Eid al-Fitr bring blessings, as well as joy for all of us,” he said.
